PCAOB: Prüfungsstandard No. 16 genehmigt

-tb- Der Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) hat mitgeteilt, dass die SEC den Auditing Standard No. 16 „Communications with Audit Committees, and amendments to other PCAOB standards" genehmigt hat (Quelle: http://pcaobus.org/News/Releases/Pages/12202012_AS16.aspx). Der Standard war vom PCAOB bereits im August verabschiedet worden und gilt nach der Genehmigung durch die SEC für ab dem 15.12.2012 beginnende Geschäftsjahre. AS No. 16 ersetzt u.a. die Interim Auditing Standards AU sec. 310 „Appointment of the Independent Auditor" und AU sec. 380 „Communication with Audit Committees" .
