IASB: Afrikanische Staaten übernehmen IFRS und ISA

-tb- Der International Accounting Standrads Board (IASB) hat die Entscheidung der Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) ausdrücklich begrüßt, die IFRS und den IFRS für KMU zu übernehmen (Quelle: www.ifrs.org/Alerts/PressRelease/PAFA+May+2012.htm). Die PAFA vertritt 39 berufsständische Vereinigungen aus 34 afrikanischen Ländern. Zugleich wurden auch die International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), die International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs) und die International Education Standards (IESs) sowie der Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants übernommen, wie die IFAC mitgeteilt hat (Quelle: www.ifac.org/news-events/2012-05/ifac-applauds-pan-african-federation-accountants-its-adoption-international-acco).
